YASUHIRO ASANO

[ARTIST BIO]

Mr Asano established his own design company Asano Design Studio in 1979 and has continued to focus on product, furniture, interior and graphic design. He also works on product planning and packaging and handles design consultation. He has received numerous design awards over the years and has also been designated a judge of some major international design awards. Mr Asano enjoys design that is both primitive and high-tech at the same time and it is a concept that he regularly explores in his work.
